new technology yields new results with turbine design
I did not see any mention of the Honeywell BTPS Wind turbine. This turbine is a small wind driven generator that switches the power to the blade tips and therefore can start generating energy at 3-4mph of wind speed. The wind speed in a Class 4 wind is plenty and it does not need to be higher than 35 ft. You can see the information on this turbine by going to: http://www.altronicsenergy.com to view information about this new technology. It is different from any typical wind turbine without the negatives. Noise is 35 db at 10 feet away and no vibration because there are no gears.
